....Recently I put a brush to canvas and opened up a world full of color and light.  It has been a wonderful journey down a road that I hope never to lose my way on.  Primarily self-taught and young in the world of art I struggle with articulating why painting is important to me.  Perhaps it is because the more I learn the more the concept changes.  Whatever the case one thing does remain constant.  I do it for the love of it.
